 Margaret McBrideMargaret holds a Diploma and Masters in Drama & Theatre Studies. In Limerick she has worked mainly with College Players and has also played with Torch, Quarry, Cecilians and Le Groupe. Productions include Confusions, Lovers, The Righteous are Bold, Philadelphia Here I Come, The Master, Arms and the Man, The Bear, Blithe Spirit, Canaries, Lovers at Versailles, One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Sweet Charity, Promises Promises, Annie, Oliver, Gigi. She is a former dancer with Cork Ballet Company and sang on radio/television with the Barleycove Folk. Recent theatre work includes the role of Anna Borowski in John MacKenna’s Who by Fire (national tour, Olympia Theatre and St. Michael’s Cave, Gibraltar); Walking Away (Helena Enright); Goldfish in the Sun (theatrical research, Everyman Palace Theatre Cork); The Women (Teaspach, vocal work); Blood Wedding (Bottom Dog rehearsed reading).
