 Jean McGlynnJean trained at Mountview Academy London. Theatre credits include, The Threepenny Opera (Jenny Diver), Into the Woods (The Witch), Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett), all with Bare Space Theatre Company. Other productions include Oliver (Nancy), Anything Goes (Reno Sweeney), Les Miserable (U.S. Famine), South Pacific (Sue Yaegar), Witches of East wick (Marcy and U.S. Jennifer), The Beautiful Game (Sydrnonton Festival -Bernadette, among many others) and Midnight Court (Young Girl) with Teaspach Theatre Co. Cabaret work includes Savoy Sessions, Fascinating Rhythm, Limerick's Leading Ladies, Applause Productions. She has taken part in rehearsed readings – Blood Wedding-Leonardo's Wife, Macbeth - Lady Macbeth (Bottom Dog Theatre). Guest performer on Children in Need BBC I and N.F.U, commercial. Jean also passes on her experiences to the children of Frontline Stage School - the other great passion in her life besides her performing career. (Dec 2009) |
