 Brendan Clinton
Every successful group has one. A person that knows how to get things. No matter how big or small, how routine or difficult, Brendan can always be called upon to dig into his vest array of personal items to come up with a prop, or to reach out and contact someone that can get it for us. The summary list below cannot begin to catalogue Brendan's efforts over 35 years in the group. For many years, he served in a senior capacity on the committee, and has been chairman and treasurer a number of times. He, along with his late wife Phyllis, kept control of the finances of the group, ensuring its very existence today. As you will see from the list, he has been the public face of the group to our audiences, taking on the critical role of Front of House Manager, and acting as the liaison between the group and the venue management. Brendan has taken a back seat in recent years, but still comes to all the plays, and we know where he is when we need him! |
