Bernie Hayes

Bernie started acting with Quarry Players in 1983 appearing as Máire in Translations by Brian Friel, in John B. Keane’s Many Young Men of Twenty, The Field and Martin McDonagh’s The Cripple of Inishmaan. She has also performed with Ardagh Drama Group and directed two pantomimes in her native Askeaton. Most recently she played the memorable role of Rima in our production of Dolly West’s Kitchen by Frank McGuinness and as Peggy in Stolen Child by Yvonne Quinn & Bairbre Ni Chaoimh.
