Quarry Players Limerick, will be celebrating their 40th anniversary next year - 2009. During the year, a series of events will be organised, to celebrate the achievement, and to look back over the history of the group. Since the group was founded, until the end of 2007, 512 people (all recorded on the membership list) have been members of the group; with countless others involved through indirect association, family, venues, and of course the public, who come to see us. Through the years, we have gathered friends of the group, who help us without any public acknowledgement.
In order to raise some needed funds, and to publicly acknowledge people that contribute to the group, we have decided to start a “friends of Quarry Players” scheme, whereby interested people can make a donation, and have it publicly noted by the group.
Annual contributions to the scheme are as follows:
* Individual EUR € 75 (Couple EUR € 100)
* Corporate EUR € 150
Being a friend of Quarry Players will entitle you to:
- Special mention in all our production programmes and on our group website
- Complimentary production programmes for friend and quest*
- Two complementary tickets to the opening night of all productions*
- Invites to all Quarry Players receptions, special events, and general meetings
- Special 'friends only' reception before each major production - Corporate friends will have their logo displayed on this site, with a link to the corporate website
In the main though, you will know that your support is helping Quarry Players Limerick to continue its activities.
The scheme will run for each calendar year, with reminders for a further contribution being issued each November. If you decide to contribute again, you will be issued with a new certificate, which you can frame if you wish.
