Barbara Clinton
At the AGM, Barbara Clinton was elected President for a three year term. She said on the night, that she was delighted and honoured to have been elected, particularly as it was the 40th anniversary, and she reminded all present that she was available at all times, if anyone had any difficulties or issues that they needed help resolving as part of their work on the committee. Barbara took a moment to remember all the people that had worked so hard to get the group through its first forty years, and she specially mentioned her parents, Brendan and the late Phyllis, who had encouraged her to join the group back in 1977, and who both also gave so much to the group over the years. In his outgoing address as President, Michael Kearney complimented all the members of the officer group, and individual members of the committee for their work over the past year. Michael had completed his second term as President. |
